American Marketing Association (AMA)
The AMA, one of the largest professional associations for marketers, has 38,000 members worldwide. The AMA has proven to be an essential resource for relevant marketing information that experienced marketers turn to everyday. The AMA’s Web site offers a wide array of resources including research, case studies and best practices in marketing. AMA's prestigious marketing journals provide access to the newest developments in marketing thought, while AMA magazines have practical applications of marketing strategies to address marketers' daily needs on the job.

Mission House has found value in the AMA’s specialty conferences, one-day seminars, bootcamps and workshops, as these help marketers like us build the skills that keep us ahead of emerging trends and strengthen long-term professional development.

American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA)
AIGA is the oldest and largest professional association serving designers in the U.S. Founded in 1914, AIGA is dedicated to the advancement of excellence and professionalism for designers nationwide and serves 15,000 members organized into more than 40 local chapters nationwide and in student groups on 80 campuses. AIGA provides a variety of local and national programs annually, and has conducted design competitions since 1922. This is the place design professionals turn to first to exchange ideas and information, participate in critical analysis and research, and advance education and ethical practice.

MHC has found AIGA to be an excellent resource for design and for business due to the organization’s directory, job bank, conferences, events, and various publications produced.

Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED)
CED was founded in 1984 to stimulate the creation and growth of high impact companies in the greater Research Triangle area. A private, non-profit organization supported by membership dues, program revenues and contributions, CED helps entrepreneurs in wide range industries and at all stages of development—from high-tech product-based organizations to professional service firms, from one-person start-ups to 1000-person businesses. CED provides an interactive forum for entrepreneurs, investors, service professionals, academicians, researchers and public policy makers who combine their energies to create an environment in which entrepreneurship can flourish.

Mission House is an annual supporter of CED and produces the organization’s membership directory. CED has proven to be a great resource for networking, obtaining industry knowledge and professional training. In addition, CED has played a key role in helping us understand the business worlds our clients come from and how to appropriately integrate ourselves within those worlds.
