Mission House Creative Enhances Corporate Profile
New hires in specialized areas
RALEIGH, N.C., June 8, 2004 – Market needs not only determine the direction for new businesses, but also the professional background of the people who work in it. For this reason, Mission House Creative (MHC) continues to expand its corporate profile in order to enhance its expertise in design, advertising, marketing and public relations.
"Three new highly qualified professionals have joined the team at MHC since May 2004. Each of these new employees will increase our ability to serve our clients with creative integrated solutions and strategic counsel so that our clients growing needs are met in a professional and timely manner," President Carol Roessner said.
Patricia Hopkins joins the team as Account Supervisor and Account Planner with more than 13 years of experience in the marketing communications and branding field. Some of her accomplishments include developing integrated marketing plans for companies such as the PGA Tour and NASCAR and managing overall sales and sponsorship programs. While she is proud of her marketing success, Patricia says, "One of the accomplishments I'm most proud of is creating a philanthropic program that resulted in a beacon award for giving back to the community."
A few of the companies she has worked for are Turner Broadcasting, The Weather Channel and the Indy Racing League. Patricia's responsibilities at MHC will include implementing integrated marketing strategies for new and existing clients; cultivating strong relationships with current clients, consumers and within the community; and utilizing her existing expertise to bring innovative solutions to overall business goals.
Barbara Ketchum, Production and Business Manager, has dedicated 29 years to graphic arts in marketing and advertising. Her knowledge and experience include almost all areas of print production, from national consumer print and outdoor advertising, package design, trade show exhibits and retail display to complex direct marketing production. Prior to joining MHC, Barbara worked with nationally recognized agencies in Durham, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh and owned her own business. Ketchum says she looks forward to using the broad expertise she's gained over the years as a valuable component for strategic growth initiatives.
Michael Sullivan, Jr. Copywriter and Traffic Coordinator, is jumpstarting his professional career with MHC. His talents come by an undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he majored in English and wrote for the Daily Tar Heel. His services to the team involve copywriting on all accounts while coordinating daily workflow and communication between departments. He has recently worked on projects with Guilford College, UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and Glaxosmithkline. "I plan on working hard to reinforce MHC's creativity and organization," Sullivan quips. "To spark a little extra charge to the lightening in the bottle."
Each of the new employees has already become an integral part of MHC. As the growing team moves forward with the firm's new slogan "make BIG things happen," it looks like all of Mission House Creative will be doing just that.
