Gold And Bronze ADDYs Awarded to Mission House Creative

MHC goes 3 for 7 at 2005 ADDY Awards ceremony

RALEIGH, N.C., February 19, 2005 – By the close of the 2005 ADDY Awards, Mission House Creative (MHC) went home with three ADDYs from the Ad Club of the Triangle Chapter, Third District of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). MHC received one gold and two bronzes during the special ceremony known for recognizing excellence in communications and marketing in North Carolina.

MHC was awarded the Gold ADDY in the category of Advertising Industry Self-Promotion for its holiday calendar. Due to its gold status, the calendar will be automatically entered in the regional competition. The creation of the calendar was a collaborative effort in-house; Creative Director Carol Roessner, Copywriter Michael Sullivan and new Associate Creative Director Robert Bagget each gave their creative energy to the piece.

"It was interesting to start in on a self promo piece so early into my relationship with a new shop; it was a great way to see first hand the passion, energy and expertise of this wonderfully creative firm," Baggett said.

Baggett comes to Raleigh after 10 years of working in western NC and east TN. During his time with several agencies and partnering in his own firm, Baggett amassed a great deal of experience in manufacturing/technology B2B, tourism and banking/finance.

Mission House Creative also received two bronze ADDYs, one under the Collateral Material, 4-Color Brochure category for the Guilford College recruitment brochure, and the other under Elements of Advertising for the KDK logo.

"It was a great collaborative effort on all 3 winning pieces," Roessner said. "I'm delighted to see our whole team get recognition for exemplary work, especially when we help each other create pieces that are well-crafted in every regard."
