Flora & Fauna

With all this flora and fauna, you might’ve guessed that MHC is located in the woods. Between the pines, ivy, yuccas and wildflowers, Water Garden Office Park is truly an oasis.

It’s actually sad that the water here resembles Willy Wonka’s chocolate, but real estate development (and the red clay that comes with it) is a fact of life. Thankfully, we’ve found humor in likening it to a giant bowl of chocolate, and the local wildlife still claim the pond as home.

Just about any day of the week, you’ll find not one, not two, but a gaggle of geese meandering the grounds of Water Garden Office Park. Every spring brings a new flock of fuzzy, bright-eyed yearlings trailing Mama and Papa Goose.

When they're coming and going, proceed with caution at our turtle, frog and critter crossings. Occasionally, the resident amphibia can be seen journeying across the pavement. If you happen to follow one of these, you may find yourself on a multi-colored pebble road. While it won't take you to Oz, you will begin to see magical forms appearing throughout the sculpture garden. Various artistic shapes and statues greet you as you walk along the shaded path.

We like to think of this as our little place where the world stops when the deadlines are spinning.
